Are most people integrating the likes of Apollo, zoominfo etc into clay to find contacts? Im seriously at a loss. One month into using Clays pro plan (thinking it could do it all) and im coming up dry on contacts for accounts.
This is the workflow for how I integrate Apollo to add contacts for both Clay’s find people and Apollo’s find contacts for specified accounts, where I need greater coverage in case it’s helpful. For other data providers with a Find contacts API you can use the same method to add more coverage. When the account list is very large, I use Make to limit the new entries to the top of the workflow to 83 per hour via Google sheets to stop it running into Apollo API limitation issues
I am not a big fan of using Clay to find contacts. I use Clay mainly for enrichment. It is generally more expensive than other solutions: Apify, Apollo, etc. What I do: Get a raw list of contacts from either Apollo, Apify or any other data provider and enrich with needed data using Clay
Hi Michael M. Gui S. if you are looking toward building a highly targeted list for outbound email campaign, please fill this form (~3 mins), we will share a sample. No need for coming up dry or spending extra...
We've set up custom waterfalls to find people, and then find email, verify email, and have multiple fallbacks. Happy to show you some examples as well.
