I have a list of contacts and their linkedin URLs. I want to find their colleagues by searching for people in both the same department AND country of the same seniority or higher and pull back the colleague's full name. How do i do that?
Is there also a way of automating the "find people" part? Or do I need to manually input the information in each time for each list that I am building?
Hey Anuj P. that was really helpful and it worked thanks. I've got an issue with the "find people" part as I tested it with 50 contacts (total 47 companies) that I had. All these contacts were found from Apollo so I know that they have data on LinkedIn. I input the same job titles and country but in the new table only 20 people were found. In the end I only found a matching colleague in the same department and city for 5 out of 50 contacts. The filters I used were:
company LinkedIn - to only pull the same companies
country - the countries of the list i pulled so it maches
job title (did not tick exact match) - i entered all available ones that matched
In the "job functions" section, i couldn't find a matching department for the job titles i wanted (sourcing, procurement, buyer, supply chain). Is there somewhere else to find this?
you can ping me here if you face any issues
Ok thanks I will do that
Normal Ai formula generator
Is it just the normal AI formula generator or would I need an open AI column to pick the most relevant person?
From you current table & new table , take 'company linkedin url' OR 'domain' whichever is available - take it as a reference in lookup enrichment. And run all. Then, you will get 2 results - lookup record found & no record found. For lookup record found - use AI formula generator to extract the colleague name if they're from the same department. Done. ✅
Thanks Anuj P. - can you clarify on how to do the lookup from my current table to a new table to match my existing contacts up with the colleague names from the same country, company and department?
hey Spencer H. you can use 'find people' enrichment. Enter the same department or if you know job titles then put those. Choose 'country' you want under the location filter, and then import all people into a new table. Then do a lookup from your current table to a new table, get the colleague's full name Hope it helps 🙂
you ever use the "the org"
linkedin isn't usually the best place for this... it's kinda hard
