Some requests:
Increasing the maximum results for every google maps ‘find local businesses’ function. It takes quite a lot of manual labour to do it multiple times.
‘Find local businesses’ through the google maps api with multiple keywords. I am literally doing the exact same query four or five different times with different keywords.
Repeating the ‘find local business’ query that I have layed out at scale for multiple cities. So for example, I input a list of locations, ranges, and keywords, and then just ask Clay to run the query. That would be great. It would save quite some manual time. Also, doing this manually is a bit slow, there is some lag and delay on the server side (I presume) to make this happen. It would be really amazing if I can input such a query (like I said with a list of locations, keywords, and ranges), and then just get an email notification when it is done.
Hi Arne, thank you for reaching out and thanks for this! We're always looking to make the product better and this feedback is super helpful for us. We're going to pass this over to our product team so they can better evaluate things and see if/where this might fit into the roadmap as a future improvement.
Hey Stefano I myself am looking through clays slack for an answer to the same question and was going to ask our clay enterprise partner rep - but as of right now are there any workarounds to accomplish the goal of multiple keyword searches for the same area? Using any direct API integrations or functionality within clay?
Hey there Joe thanks for reaching out, to clarify here this in regard to the Google Maps feature, correct? Or is this for our normal Search People/Company features?
Either or - we were using maps to search specific areas
Ah I see, if you are using the Google Maps feature currently there is no way to search for multiple locations/keywords in a search. If you were using a Find People/Company search, both searches have a filter option to include Keywords. Although with these options you cannot use a Map to pin down an exact search radius as with Google Map option. https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1326706679/43f844b1cd7040e4b42772c25a5b/image.png?expires=1736370900&signature=09996f788c46603b0c96d8ba6e93cb2c1421ae85f09d4bf10c03b0498126868c&req=dSMlEM5%2Bm4dYUPMW1HO4zck1gEZcR9UADXqQHpDiPpsttYmAyAfIP2VDEkVk%0AVMF1%0A https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1326707668/b96f87b12479b0e9211d964f91b1/image.png?expires=1736370900&signature=ac2f64af760616d4696966aa5837eea3038e2224f13eac7106b243582f2fd5a4&req=dSMlEM5%2BmodZUfMW1HO4zSRQUC98CsR1C2ssXyvsDJDetLnJibodZaaXe5Z7%0AGjCO%0A
This is very helpful - thank you! Does including keywords search for people/companies with an And/OR value? Or is it only looking for companies that match all of the keywords listed? I’m looking to search a city for businesses across a set of 3 or more keywords. In this example it would be Private chef Personal chef, Culinary services all as seperate keywords I’m looking to return results for. Is that something that is possible? or that can be searched for on a row by row basis dynamically replacing the keyword? I will explore this - I realize I have many questions
Hey there Arne this feature makes use of a OR values when searching for keywords.
