Please please please just charge me more for Claude Sonnet 3.5 so I don't hit this error. Or like evaluate the prompt and then set the credit price. I hate not being able to spend my clay credits. https://cln.sh/C199vrgY

When using Claude Sonnet or other more advanced models, you can adjust the "Max Cost" parameter to allow for higher spending on your requests. For expensive models like Claude Sonnet, it's recommended to set the Max Cost to at least 0.10 to avoid errors. You have several options to optimize your model usage:1. Try different models to find what works best for your specific queries - GPT-3.5 and Haiku are most cost-effective, while Neon offers highest accuracy 2. Use your own AI API key which won't consume Clay credits 3. Purchase credit top-ups if you need more credits for a particular month Sources: Claygent (AI Web Researcher) with Artificial Intelligence Introducing Claygent Neon How can I get more credits if I run out? - FAQ | Clay.com
I'm glad you found the information helpful! I'm here if you need any further assistance.
Thanks! We've reopened this thread. You can continue to add more detail directly in this thread.
No, this is not the problem. It's that Clay is preventing me from using my Clay credits by deeming some prompts too long to be used with Clay credits.
So I want to be able to "spend more Clay credits" if it's an expensive prompt or whatever.
For expensive or long prompts that are being restricted from using Clay credits, you can use your own API key instead. By integrating your own OpenAI API key, you'll be able to run these prompts without consuming Clay credits and bypass any length restrictions.
Hey Jordan, thanks for flagging this one. Shared with the team to see how it could be implemented and get it going. I can see how this is quite a limitation given prompts get more extensive and detailed over time to accurately handle tasks. Makes sense to consider dynamic costs in such cases. Happy New Year btw!! :D
