i have a real big issue one of my tables keeps updating. i have lost more than 90000 credits on this table i really need help with this.
It sounds like you have auto-update enabled on your table. To stop the continuous updates, you have a few options: 1. Table Level: Click the logo in the bottom-right corner of the screen and select 'Turn off Table'. 2. Column Level: For specific columns, click the column header, go to column settings, scroll to the bottom of the menu, and toggle off 'Auto-Update' in 'run settings'. 3. For the entire table: Click the three dots next to your table name, then select "Auto-Update Columns" to turn it off. Turning off auto-update can help save credits and prevent unnecessary enrichments while you're setting up your table. If you need further assistance, please ask to talk to a person.
i had stopped it last time when it took 40000 credits
this time again it has taken 40000 credits for no reason it ran again
I apologize for the unexpected credit consumption. It's possible that auto-update was accidentally re-enabled. To prevent this from happening again: 1. Double-check your table settings: Click the three dots next to your table name and ensure "Auto-Update Columns" is turned off. 2. Review individual columns: Some columns might have auto-update enabled separately. Check each column's settings and turn off "Auto-Update" in the "Run Settings" section. 3. Test enrichments on a few rows before updating the entire table to avoid unintended credit usage. If you need more credits, you can purchase credit top-ups, which cost 50% more than your plan's typical credit cost. If you need further assistance, please ask to talk to a person.
Hey Afsha,
I'm sorry you're experiencing this issue. Could you share both table URLs so I can check what's wrong? I don't see which workspace you're contacting us from.
Did you make any updates that might trigger rows to run? For example, if the EI column pulls data from a formula column you recently updated, this could cause ongoing updates. Or have you added more data recently? Please share more details so I can help resolve this.
Hi Bo, i have not updated anything recently
last time i checked this whole table was recurring a run automatically so i stopped it when i lost around 44000 credits
presently my credits got renewed so i should have had almost 90000 credits but i saw the table ran again and now i have only 45k credits which is not right.
my workspace is https://app.clay.com/workspaces/354424/
yesterday it was showing 90000 credits used on this table as per this screenshot
and now its showing 44000 used
but i have lost 90000 credits please check
Hi Afsha, I'm very sorry for this. When I'm checking the table, all of the credit consumption seems to have been pretty much the same since the 13th. I don't see anything wrong here unless you do. Can you please let me know? Here’s the CSV of the credits recently used. To access the table, you can replace the TABLEID in the URL with the ID found in the CSV under “Credits Spent by Day and Table”: https://app.clay.com/workspaces/WORKSPACEID/tables/TABLEID Let me know if you need help with anything else! 😊
Hi Bo, there is a confusion. if you see the credits used for this month for the factors decision maker table is 93,060 because it was run twice suddenly it went on a recurring mode where instead of running only for daily contacts that visit the website it ran for the whole table. This is my workspace : https://app.clay.com/workspaces/354424 . this is the table that gets daily data from our webhook https://app.clay.com/workspaces/354424/workbooks/wb_vPWQbvWvXeGV/tables/t_voBf4NYq57aY/views/gv_9iExhJQkeohn and this is the table table runs after that for decision makers https://app.clay.com/workspaces/354424/workbooks/wb_vPWQbvWvXeGV/tables/t_HhDmeDD5zSD9/views/gv_YCKtuFENqegx
Something is not right because decision makers table ran completely instead of each days data and we lost 90000 credits.
Got it. I'm very sorry this happened. I see that you're not using a run schedule anymore on that table. If you only want to run this on new rows, just turning on the auto update would be sufficient. Auto update will trigger processing whenever a value is added to the table, rather than processing the entire table.
Out of the credits used, how many would you like refunded?
Thank you for your support and response. There were 2 runs of 90000 credits. Can you refund one run of the 44000 credits? I am ok to take the loss of one 😢
Hi Bo i am really waiting for this response please help
Hey Afsha, I've added 44000 credits back to your account. Let me know if you need anything else!
Hey Bo, just refreshed and saw the credits added
thank you so much for all your help
will ask my team to work better
to run this table on a daily basis what should be the right setting
can you assist me with it ?
Hey,
It depends on what you want to run daily. The webhook is automated from outside of Clay - as soon as it receives data, it will appear in Clay. With auto update on, everything will run automatically when new data comes in.
If you want to rerun certain columns daily to get new data, you can set this up in the table settings where you'll find options to rerun columns daily. But it doesn't seem like that's what's needed in your case.
Let me know if you need anything else!
Thanks a lot BO
You have been great help
