Sent some data from one table to another table using the "Send data" enrichment by Cold labs, and while I was mapping the Linkedin Url for people from "Row" (data from the table one) to the Linkedin Poeple URL that was in table 2. What it did was populated the row for that record but all of the previous 3400 record of that row vanished... and this costed me a lot of time efforts and wasted credits as well..
Based on the information available, I don't have specific details about why the "Send data" enrichment by Cold labs caused your data to vanish. This appears to be an unexpected behavior that isn't documented in our sources. To recover your data, you might try using the "write to other table" feature which is our standard way to send data between tables. Have you checked if your data might still exist in the source table? What was the exact process you followed when mapping the LinkedIn URLs? This would help me better understand what might have happened.
Hey — really sorry that happened. When you remap a value and auto-update is on, it triggers re-runs across all mapped rows, which can lead to previous data getting overwritten if not handled carefully. Totally understand how frustrating that is, especially with the lost time and credits. For next time, it's recommended to use a Merge column instead (found on the far right - add column) Let me know if you have more questions.
Why add a feature that's not good? I had 3000 rows prior and send data was at 3001 row so when mapping it was supposed to populate 3001 row not make the 3000 rows data vanish.
Hey, really sorry about that—it definitely shouldn’t be wiping out existing data. Could you let me know exactly when this happened, including your time zone? I’ll flag it to the engineers so they can review your case directly. Also, do you know how many credits were used during this run? Let me know if you have more questions.
Wednesday 28th may 8:45Pm Approx PST GMT+5 The table was whole enriched using claygents (with Api) apollo, apify and more enrichments. We have to rebuilt the table and everything that costed us almost 8-10 hours and $60 almost.
Got it—I’ve added 1,000 credits back to your account and shared the details with our team. Really sorry again for the trouble. Let me know if you need anything else.
You can take those credits back, I am working with heading to market and the account I was using was khawaja.fahd@heading2market.com also it was 3000 rows approx, even the workemail finder and verifier alone can cost me 4-5k credits if i'm not using my API's, any way thankyou for this gesture. and you'ld like to check your DM.
Thanks for the heads-up—I’ve transferred the credits back to the correct account under khawaja.fahd@heading2market.com. Just replied to your DM as well. Let me know if you have more questions.
