Magic promt doesn’t map the input columns correctly
If your Magic Prompt isn't mapping input columns correctly, the issue might be related to output definition in your prompt configuration. To fix this: 1. Check that your prompt variables are properly defined using the correct syntax: • Use forward slash ("/") to select columns from the dropdown • Assign each column to a variable using curly brackets 2. Verify that required fields are properly set in the Prompt Editor to ensure your AI enrichments only run when specific fields contain data. If problems persist, try: 1. Delete the affected column 2. Create a fresh column 3. Re-map your data
kept the column SUPPORT Use AI
I use claude for this generally but this should be easier for users using AI prompt generator
Andreas - Sorry for this, it looks like we've got a bug on our hands. I've escalated this to our engineering team to help look into it. We'll follow up here as soon as we know more!
noice. And since it’s in like 4 places in the prompt, it’s also too much of a hassle to remap
Yeah, totally get that—Really sorry about that. We’ve flagged it and will get back to you once it’s fixed.
I’ve already moved on to my claude prompt 🙂 but this is good to solve!
Hey Andreas, We tried to reproduce this on our end but couldn’t. Could you share more details about the steps you took before it happened? For example: ** Did you delete or add any values? ** Was there a step where you skipped adding a value where one was expected? Any extra context would help us figure it out. Let me know!
Hey - I really just used the Generate button, wrote my prompt and this is what came out.
I don’t have that prompt anymore
No changes to the table or anything. This was just the reults that was produced
Ok, thank you for the extra details!!!!
if you haven’t seen this a lot before it must have been a one off, just seemed odd. Was a pretty vanilla prompt.
