Hello People. For those of you who have been in GTM , can you please guide me on this? Quick background: Backend and product engineer, 8+ years in tech, ex-Amazon. I build end to end, so GTM engineering feels like a natural next layer rather than a career change. Longer term I am building toward my own ventures, with a GTM agency alongside them. Here is the roadmap I have put together for myself to a first GTM client: Deliberately short, about a two-minute read. Does it hold up? What am I missing? Feel free to add your perspectives. Please feel free to comment on the doc or DM me, whatever works for you. Really appreciate it. 🙏
Hey People, I’m Aisha 👋 I’ve spent 8+ years in engineering across Amazon Germany, sennder GmbH, and most recently as a founding engineer at a German startup, working remotely from Pakistan alongside a non-technical German founder. These days I’m building my own products. Previously, I built an Edtech product, and failed it. Didn't figure out a solid GTM and distribution channels. This time, I'm building with a GTM/distribution first approach. I hope I get B2Bs in next 6 months. What brought me to this clay community: Building is the part I know. Distribution is the part I’m actively figuring out, which is why I’m here. I want to get better at GTM, experiment with different channels, and learn from people experts here. I just built my first lead generation pipeline for the tutor product I'm working on. I will post more about in relevant channel. Also always happy to meet people building, switching paths, or figuring things out themselves. Feel free to DM me for a virtual coffee and exchange perspectives ☕
