Hey Clay community! Curious to hear from the community on best practices when using the people search function. Do you prefer to use titles or seniority levels + functions? Which is more reliable and accurate? Previously I had thought that searching titles is much more reliable.
I was skeptical on the most accurate method so I ran a test on a single account that had two people with the exact title: "VP of Engineering".
Searching exactly for "VP of Engineering" in the inclusive titles returned no results, same when I toggled on "Exact Keyword Match". It was only when I toggled on "Exact Title Match" that the two people appeared in the search. Then interestingly, the two people appeared when I cleared out the title search and included VP seniority & Engineering as a function. Unfortunately I cannot rely on Exact Title Match searches for my use case.
Thoughts on best practices and what you've found to be most accurate and consistent?
