Honourable A. thanks for your video. As you experienced, Clay seems to add owners for companies not in the list itself, which is concerning and would lead to bad outcomes when doing outreach. Also, you seemed to be trying to use Linkedin, but that's going to limit then number of people we can find based on who has a Linkedin profile and whether Clay can find it and make the correct association. Another issue is the many records that get created for each company. For example, if you look at your data set, there are many records for Siemens, Verizon, etc. I don't want to send emails to 20 people at each company. This will only be an issue at larger companies, but Clay finds far too many records even at smaller companies that fit the filters of "CEO" or "Owner", thereby creating a sub-optimal list.
Finally, as you saw in your test, you ended up wanting better data and tried to use Apollo, but that required an account with them. It seems like Clay has a really hard time finding the right contact and grabbing their email without third-party integrations. Maybe we're missing something?
