I have two quick suggestions for resolving this issue.
The first one is adding an instruction to the system prompt to return "The Company is out of business" if it sees 404 etc. Otherwise, LLMs tend to satisfy the user, thus, they might be hallucinating and spitting out unrelated answers.
The other thing is sending Clay agents to the target company's blog pages and asking them to check the recent blog publish dates. While this is not a 100% solution, it might be an additional layer to check the company's status.
