Trying the new image generation AI enrichment, and having trouble adding in a URL for reference image. Attached error.
I'm sorry you're experiencing an error with the reference image URL in our new image generation feature. There could be a few reasons for this: 1. The URL might not be a direct, CORS-enabled image link. 2. The image format may not be supported. To troubleshoot: 1. Ensure you're using a direct image URL (ending with .jpg, .png, etc.). 2. Check if the image host allows CORS (Cross-Origin Resource Sharing). 3. Try uploading the image to a different host or directly to Clay if possible. If the issue persists, it would be helpful to see the exact error message. Could you please share the error details or screenshot in the chat? This will help us provide more specific assistance.
The error is attached above. Any url comes back with the unexpected colon token message, even though that's the preferred URL format
I'm sorry you're experiencing this error with the image generation feature. The "unexpected colon token" error suggests there might be an issue with the URL format or how it's being processed. To troubleshoot: 1. Ensure you're using a direct image URL (ending with .jpg, .png, etc.). 2. Check if the image host allows CORS (Cross-Origin Resource Sharing). It would be helpful to see the exact JSON or input you're using. Could you please copy and paste the JSON or the full input you're using for the reference image URL into the chat? This will allow us to identify any potential formatting issues. If the problem persists after verifying the URL format, it may be a bug in our system. In that case, we'd need to escalate this to our development team for further investigation.
Do you have an example URL that would work so I can validate it's an issue with mine?
I apologize, but we don't have a specific example URL in our documentation. For image generation in Clay, you need a direct image URL (ending with .jpg, .png, etc.) that's CORS-enabled. If you're still having trouble, could you share the exact JSON or input you're using for the reference image URL? This will help us identify any potential formatting issues. If the problem persists after verifying your URL format, it might be a bug in our system. In that case, you may want to request human assistance for further investigation.
Hey! Right now, the reference image URL field only takes in a formula, not an actual URL. Can you try creating a new column with that URL, and then calling that column (/column_name) in the reference image URL field?
Nope same issue
Can you send a screenshot of how you're using it?
