Uncover Opportunities: How to Identify Ideal Customers in Pharma, Medical Device, Technology & More

·
·

Hello hello...I just purchased an annual package and was looking for any feedback you can share. If so, that'd be great...if not or too busy right now...no harm, no foul...all good, I'll eventually figure out. Even if you can share how I can do one of these, that'd be helpful...thx. Client sells an enterprise-level project management software. Industries:

  • pharma

  • medical device

  • semi-conductor

  • technology

  • consumer products

Seniority/Titles

  • vp/dir/head

  • r&d, engineering, new product development, pmo, project management, portfolio management, cto

Ideas/Strategies

  • how to find out what companies are using specific software (Planisware and Planview - competitors) if not available with Builtwith - How?

  • target individual professionals at new position within last 6 months of starting new job - How?

  • companies that missed earnings - How?

  • companies that announced new products - How?

  • not getting to market as fast as possible / holes in product pipeline - How? Google search? (I'm guessing?)

  • companies that received a warning letter from FDA (I was told this is public - How? (this is the website pulled from)

  • companies that value speed to market in developing new products - Keyword search? (Google search?)

  • target lookalike companies of current clients and competitor clients - I know how to do this 😉

Thank you!

Hey Adam, thanks for reaching out! This channel is fine for this. People can also jump in and add to it if they have best practices themselves.

-About the tech stacks, we have a couple of providers that could find this information depending on whether the tools they use are added/embedded to their site (BuiltWith would be best here) or if it's more of a 3rd party tool they work with and commonly mentioned in job posts (PredictLeads could help with this one).We also just integrated Apify which could be useful as an additional scraping tool if there are some options for this.

To approach this, I would start with a list of companies in the specified industries either using our Find Companies source or importing them from another source if you're using something else like Apollo. Then I would use the tech stack options to filter them out. And continue with finding people with those title variations at those companies to further snowball other enrichments like finding emails and generating personalized messages depending on what your email templates/messaging looks like.

To target individuals within 6 months of their current position, our Find People source does include a filter for that which could help you build that list.

For missed earnings or announced new products, while we don't currently have a way to start a list from scratch with that information, PredictLeads and a few other providers could find news for a list of companies and you can filter by similar categories. You could also maybe use Claygent in some cases so it browses and scrapes that data for you for a list of companies you may have/generate.

About the last few questions, it would be worth trying to define what data points would likely tell that story about the companies and then it may be easier to find the provider or even just Claygent to also return such data if publicly available.
