Hello, I am using clearout validation on my mobile phone waterfall. I was using the API but then I discovered that they had a 250/min limit at my subscription level. So, I switched to the clay shared account. however, upon running 2100+ records, I am getting a bunch of errors citing: "{"status":"failed","error":{"code":1030,"message":"You have reached API rate limit, try calling after Mon Dec 16 2024 13:26:44 GMT+0000 (Coordinated Universal Time) or to increase limit upgrade plan or reach us@clearoutphone.io"}}" Does the clay shared account also have this limit? I know I switched to the clay shared account from my own api key before running, but feel like maybe it somehow switched back to my own api key. In correcting this by re-running the thousands of errored clearout rows, it has unfortunately caused me to burn through a ton of credits (probably wasted 20-30K). ๐
When encountering API rate limit issues with email validation, here are the steps to resolve it: 1. If you're using a Clay-managed account (like Hunter.io), you'll need to purchase additional Clay credits. Each email validation costs 2 credits per enriched cell. 2. For failed validation attempts: โข Go to your first waterfall column โข Use the "Run all rows that haven't run or have errors" option โข This will only process the previously failed entries 3. Just to be sure that I wasn't using my own api key, I removed it from accounts. It is now telling me "missing authentication" for a bunch of cells. Not sure I can fix this without re-running the entire waterfall again.

Hi Stephen, looking at your table I cannot see columns giving you a "missing authentication" method. Did you change the key you were using to Clay's own API key or were you able to solve this issue?
Unfortunately, it'll still require to run the rows since it'll get stuck on stale data otherwise. Very sorry for this Stephen! Hi Bo Upon review, my clearout credits were used, so it was using my API key even though I had clearly set it to use clay credits. I had intentionally set it to use the clay credits because I was already aware of this api limit on my account. The issue is the fact that I thought I was using the clay shared (credits) account versus my own api, when it was clearly shown that I was not supposed to be using my account. As a result, it has caused errors, and this has unfortunately cost me more clay credits to fix the data. I'd definitely appreciate a refund of the wasted credits if possible. Thank you so much.
