Hi all, new to Clay so this is probably a noob question. But is it possible to generate a leadlist that contains both emails and LinkedIn profile urls? Our VA looked at it and said we needed another tool for the LinkedIn profiles, but when I search here it looks like there are some options?
Hi, thanks for reaching out. You should be find the domain and emails of prople by using the following method. First, create a company table by selecting "Find People", as shown below. https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1252337126/1867417c41ae13a49dd60d7ee513/CleanShot+2024-11-14+at+15_44_33%402x.png?expires=1731618900&signature=3fefde0fa435e5a4b99b57cd708b222af35cdaae1d83fb718b3ff2dcf6f1341e&req=dSIiFMp9moBdX%2FMW1HO4zU6GbEPW%2FudHd%2B1DLv%2Bu0pwWAFrgCw2JaUXBc7u7%0A%2Fin1%0A This will open a menu where you can enter parameters to specify the type of person you’re looking for. Once you’ve set your parameters, click "Preview People" to check if the results meet your expectations. See the example below: https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1252337676/2ec43357781c364697f016e9bf5c/CleanShot+2024-11-14+at+15_45_17%402x.png?expires=1731618900&signature=091e26034128dd8af90d41643b37977cfc86a374bfe04fc324b38edca0a60400&req=dSIiFMp9modYX%2FMW1HO4zba6zVX07ViYH1JcZ%2FQ7dRNxmWAk5teQjTi7yy0F%0Ah5g%2B%0A Next, click "Import," and a menu will appear. From there, toggle on the "Work Email" enrichment, as shown below: https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1252339749/ac92fca3d433c9825078410712f8/CleanShot+2024-11-14+at+15_46_41%402x.png?expires=1731618900&signature=342d06d9ebda48d980cd956bd9f7d66e04db785d0b9572af48ed3f698047f173&req=dSIiFMp9lIZbUPMW1HO4zalr7L7b6nyKxiT2ofo%2FkrC%2Fl6h0uL8wzQabYvL1%0A5vLV%0A After that, click "Continue," and a table will be generated with the emails, social URLs, and names of the people found. An example of what this looks like is shown below: https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1252341374/984dbc71d54ea684674bf39c5196/CleanShot+2024-11-14+at+15_48_28%402x.png?expires=1731618900&signature=0058a01c97829df23d3678ba9f3d4dc804937a78aa288cfacbbdcda9415ecf18&req=dSIiFMp6nIJYXfMW1HO4zYPvA4PON1yGBtdwXlSBqeXwKRXrYaOaADLPdPs9%0Ac0b3%0A Let me know if this helps!
Then I would recommend in your people search, under "Job Title"> "Include levels" you select "Owner". You could also add other filters to be more specific if you would want! https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1252390552/182319beeb7cbbf63e14b1f7a5f6/CleanShot+2024-11-14+at+16_37_20%402x.png?expires=1731622500&signature=e098053a38e48069ed9f827f2f91593acbf5a5968e2696eb490e050fa4b6377a&req=dSIiFMp3nYRaW%2FMW1HO4zUTGqKSzN1PoElaD9zLCkVPIX%2BmFTj3w2Rs8o2%2Bx%0A7Bpf%0A
Hi - No the tech stack enrichment is not found at this level. Let me help you with finding companies using specific tech stacks. Here's the recommended workflow: 1. Find companies first 2. Add the "tech stack" enrichment (found in enrichment panel, top right "add enrichment" button) https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1252427995/f8567c8aece97dc2239a2c3cf7e1/CleanShot+2024-11-14+at+_39WfEkJj0h%402x.png?expires=1731624300&signature=4f192fb100a71598a983bf226b44d4d3ab7bec4a138e046c09f2ec4dfbbe77ed&req=dSIiFM18mohWXPMW1HO4zWNSBHEK0fcAmScEIVtUu85dbn%2FtRsWHsvkMRjgX%0A4qyV%0A 3. Add a formula to check for the keywords https://cln.sh/sG3F5XG9 4. Filter out companies that don't match your tech criteria using our filtering options: https://docs.clay.com/en/articles/9641826-hide-re-order-sort-filter-merge-columns 5. Then proceed with your people search Would you like me to help you set up this workflow?
Hey guys, So if I summarize correctly, I first need to download the companies based on my preferences. And after that, from the list of companies I have, I can search for the people of those list. So it's a 2 step process, correct?
Hey there jumping in for Bo here. Exactly, you got it down, it is a two-step process to accomplish this with Clay.
Hey guys, can you have a look with me. I created a workspace called Store Leads first 200 test. I tried to do the enrichtment for Google, META, FAcebook but the formula is not returning a result
anything i'm doing wrong?
Also, I added a filter on min and max revenue. of 10k min and 1million max. Did i do that correct?
I was looking to Implement this: 2. Add the "tech stack" enrichment (found in enrichment panel, top right "add enrichment" button) https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1252427995/f8567c8aece97dc2239a2c3cf7e1/CleanShot+2024-11-14+at+_39WfEkJj0h%402x.png?expires=1731624300&signature=4f192fb100a71598a983bf226b44d4d3ab7bec4a138e046c09f2ec4dfbbe77ed&req=dSIiFM18mohWXPMW1HO4zWNSBHEK0fcAmScEIVtUu85dbn%2FtRsWHsvkMRjgX%0A4qyV%0A 3. Add a formula to check for the keywords https://cln.sh/sG3F5XG9
Hello there! I am not sure what filter you mean, but the source was made correctly and you can add a filter for the data point you'd like by following these steps: https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1256254640/c14109ab88893751916bf5d2f38d/CleanShot+2024-11-18+at+10_36_08.gif?expires=1731946500&signature=2021c7a2b07cc69c8bd5775b9f7c2bfea90d3ec2c8ba9483cc45cf08a8b0eb3e&req=dSIiEMt7mYdbWfMW1HO4zfc8TF69CvEF3k4WGzLM0pxxt8L%2FE14Qv5zyzUcH%0ALL5J%0A For the tech stack enrichment, you can set it up this way: https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1256257470/f932bac9d0fe403e69559e4edd77/CleanShot+2024-11-18+at+10_39_23.gif?expires=1731946500&signature=a0dcbd00d61e4dafa025908889a7472671beec7c80af98c445c5a809e5016f2d&req=dSIiEMt7moVYWfMW1HO4zZy19R4xxHzLzZvU7lbDwFX0WPnrDlVOP%2FBAgfS4%0A7AeX%0A
Ok i added the tech stack check. can you check if it's correct like this?
And let's say I now want to find the emails and LinkedIn profiles for these companies of the owners and/or cmo's of these webstores. How do i do that
Hey there, jumping in for Tomas here. You do have the Tech Stack waterfall set up correctly in your table. Also made a loom explaining how we can find CEOs and get their work emails for you as well. https://www.loom.com/share/5fd54fe5ff53438692763d61f13171c5?sid=2c043089-6976-4ad1-b141-eadfd39d2fc1
Hey guys, I created the list of people here: https://app.clay.com/workspaces/413166/tables/t_XJqqGJfnpvMu/views/gv_uYYqnhwrfTW9 Are these all we can find from my store leads here: https://app.clay.com/workspaces/413166/tables/t_mGuhYbpU5hJT/views/gv_65XVvbd5cPP4 And how can i now grow this list?
And ideally, I want to only search people who have the Tech Stack Check
Here's how :) https://cln.sh/Q7hQfXjx In this video, I cover exactly what you should be doing, how you should be doing it, and various other small tricks. Let me know if that helps. https://app.clay.com/workspaces/413166/workbooks/wb_u2xWJBVpTdSf/tables/t_mGuhYbpU5hJT/views/gv_65XVvbd5cPP4
But honestly a little over my head 🙂
So I now want to create a much bigger list. I think I need to increase the companies here? https://app.clay.com/workspaces/413166/workbooks/wb_u2xWJBVpTdSf/tables/t_mGuhYbpU5hJT/views/gv_65XVvbd5cPP4
Can you show me how please?
And after adding the companies, I need to add them to the people's list right?
I somehow was able to update the 200 companies to 1000 but I think im now our of credits 🫣
Did i do it correctly 😛
Im not sure i. needed all the work emails as well, just the LinkedIn Profiles if the emails costed me more credits
Also, the lead list probably needs a bit more filtering. What we now see is: We are getting Ceo assistants who are not active on linkedin - Just there to show a resume. Maybe we should skip CEO's and just do FOunders and CMOs! Also, Attentive is a sms tool that pops up in there
Hey Mathijs Yes, you did it perfectly! If you want to skip enrichment, you can remove them by clicking on the column header > delete or add conditions by going to the "Run Settings" part of the enrichment and using AI to set conditions. For the prompts, you can click on the column header > edit column > change the prompt. For example, you can simply change the words CEO to Founders and CMOs. Regarding Attentive, you can also filter it out! https://www.clay.com/university/lesson/how-to-use-ai-formulas
Also, I think some of the companies are too big/corporate. I would like smaller ecom stores
Then you would need to edit the search Click on the header of the sources > sources > select the sources > edit It'll only edit the NEW values added. For now, those that you have, you can try to filter based on the data that's already within the table and the table filters https://docs.clay.com/en/articles/9641826-hide-re-order-sort-filter-merge-columns
Hey guys, haven't been using the tool for a couple of months due to birth of a child. I need to really start using the tool now but I need some guidance. Is it possible to get a coachingscall?
Bo (. LuisArturo Stefano please let me know

hey guys, I tried to find Shopify Owners using searching for people but I seem to only have found companies that have tools for Shopify? This is the link to it: https://app.clay.com/workspaces/413166/workbooks/wb_ZsqWyJDi5mr7/tables/t_rjyBBEpWfPWN/views/gv_uAUGN3rWPErU Did I do it wrong. I also think i have blown through my credits? Should I use tje people search or better go for companies?
Hey there, thanks for reaching out! ☺️ Happy to help! To find a list of e-commerce companies, you can take advantage of the Store Leads feature. Just enter your desired keywords and adjust the 'Ecommerce Platform' filter to 'Shopify' while conducting your search. This will help refine the results to show only companies that utilize Shopify, for instance. If necessary, you can further narrow down the list by applying filters such as 'Country' for a specific region or 'Number of results' to manage the entries, up to a maximum of 5000 results. Remember, the 'Query' field is optional, so feel free to skip it if you're focusing solely on filtering by the ecommerce platform. Quick tip: If you anticipate conducting frequent e-commerce business searches, consider obtaining an API key for Store Leads for a more cost-effective approach. 🌟 Alternatively, you can access complete lists of technologies using BuiltWith/Wappalyzer. Claygent could also work well if you already have a list of companies. Hope this information proves helpful! If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out. 😊
Quick tip: If you anticipate conducting frequent e-commerce business searches, consider obtaining an API key for Store Leads for a more cost-effective approach. 🌟 Where can i get this?
And last time i tried this approach I got stores that were a little to big. Should i filter on revenue or are there other ways to find "smaller stores"
and would it be possible to get some extra credits to test this since I kinda threw away the last ones and haven't used the tool in 3 months
Hey, Sorry for the delay! You can get the API key from the Storeleads website: https://storeleads.app/ Definitely make use of the filters—there are some useful ones like installation date, number of employees, etc. Also, could you confirm the email connected to your workspace? It’s not mathijs@ecom-ads.com, so just want to make sure I have the right one. Thanks!
Daniel K. correct, it's tech@ecom-ads.com
Hey, I've added 500 credits. Hope this works!
