Finding Manufacturing Companies Nearby with 50+ Employees & Job Openings

·
·

Definitely a newbie question. how would you find manufacturing companies within a radius of a zip code with 50 or more employees? I tried the Google maps but that didn't work. I think from there I can find if anyone has a job opening with key words. trying to eliminate apollo or zoominfo. I tried to find Job Openings but that only gave me the city, which may be a small sample. For instance, 200 mile radius of Longview, TX.

What is not working for the Google maps? What’s the zip code you’re looking for? I just went into “Find Local Businesses using Google Maps” and was able to pull a list. I would also try Find Companies from LinkedIn or look to use an Apify actor.

The maps worked, but I couldn't find a way to only find Manufacturing Companies. I felt once I get that list, I can pair down by employee count then go find the openings.

I would try using LinkedIn Companies integration and see what you can pull up from there.

Yes, use a normal company search targeting a city, then you will be able to sort by employees as well, and enrich with job openings

My problem is this, I have a candidate trying to relocate back to a 200 mile radius of Longview, TX to get closer to his ailing parents. If I just put in Longview, that is too tight a window

You can extract the exact location with claygent, but given this, I would start with google maps but currently is giving some problems given that the team is working in improvements in this integration

So try with a company search for manufacturing companies in Longview and then ask claygent to pull the location using the domain as the input in the prompt

Yes, but I believe that starting a company table will be more accurate, I would start with this path and then use claygent to obtain the location
