Hi, I'm trying to connect my OpenAI key where I have a balance of $10 and I get this message in Clay: This action may run slowly because the limits you have on your account associated with this model are low. Consider upgrading your OpenAI API key to a higher tier for faster performance. See "Increasing your limits" here. Why is that?
Hey Luka, thanks for reaching out! This is because we’ve made some updates to ensure you have the best experience possible. We now require 30,000 TPM (tokens per minute) for ChatGPT columns and 450,000 TPM for Claygent. If you’re trying to use Claygent with a model lower than Tier 2, it won’t work. However, ChatGPT will still work fine in these cases. This message implies that your OpenAI account is at a Tier level lower than 2. You can check your ChatGPT usage or limits at the following links: • Usage • Limits • Usage Tiers Their support team will always grant you the request if you have prepaid the minimum amount required and they’ll be quick to assist if you need to increase your limits or troubleshoot any issues. Let me know if you have any other questions or how else we can assist. :)
Thanks Owen C.. How am I supposed to get to Tier 2 when it says I have to spend $50 to do so but I can't spend anything now since my key doesn't work? Increasing your limits Your organization is currently in Usage tier 1. Your limits will automatically be increased once you move to the next usage tier based on the criteria outlined below. Current tier Usage tier 1 Once the following criteria are met, you'll automatically move to the next tier:
At least $50 spent on the API since account creation.
At least 7 days passed since first successful payment.
Luke, I noticed that there is currently no OpenAI connection in your account, aside from the default Clay account. Have you been able to set that up? (under https://app.clay.com/workspaces/271261/settings/accounts) From what I understand the OpenAI team will be able to upgrade your tier if you have prepaid the amount required. If you contact them to settle that, and set up that connection within Clay, you should be good to go.
