i have a clay table that imports from a SFDC view. The view created was missing contact fields that needs to enriched by clay. Now we set it up so that the source is that report in clay and then we run the enrichments and update the fields in SFDC. Now the next day, the SFDC report has less records to update, but we want the clay table to also only reflect the records that are in that table, but the table keeps adding new rows and not deleting the ones that it had already enriched, meaning its not reflecting the records that are in the list view
Auto-delete only works with tables where the source is webhooks, not SFDC imports. [1]
For SFDC-sourced tables, you'll need to manually manage row deletion or consider switching to a webhook-based approach if you need automatic row removal when records are no longer in your SFDC view. [2]
Alternatively, you could disable auto-update to prevent new rows from being added automatically, then manually control when enrichments run. [3]
Did that answer your question?
If you need any more help managing your Clay table or SFDC integration, please let me know. Would you like to provide more details about what you're trying to achieve or any specific issues you're facing?
Is it possible to auto delete records based on the oldest date? Like say auto delete yesterday's records
No, auto-delete doesn't support date-based deletion criteria. Auto-delete only works with webhook-sourced tables and deletes rows after they've been processed and enriched, not based on age or date criteria. [1]
For your SFDC-sourced table, you'd need to manually delete older records or consider alternative approaches like filtering your SFDC view to exclude older records before they sync to Clay. [2]
