How to Automate Event Registrations from RSVPify to HubSpot Using Zapier and Clay Enrichment
Sharing a build from my own author event in case it helps anyone working on free or starter plans. The flow: RSVPify registration, into HubSpot, a live Zapier workflow using Zapier Tables as the trigger, then Clay company enrichment with 7 fields sent back into HubSpot. HubSpot matched every contact by email and updated them, so 0 duplicates. Things I learned the hard way: Clay can't enrich personal Gmail addresses, so I added a company website column to give it something real to look up. Clay's direct HubSpot sync needs a paid plan, so I exported a CSV and re-imported it instead. Clay's export repeats some columns (company name and website show up twice), so I removed the extras and renamed the rest to match HubSpot's field names before importing. Storage by Zapier looks like a trigger option but only works as an action. Zapier Tables works as a real trigger. Next I'm replacing the manual steps with one n8n workflow, including a code step that does the column cleanup automatically. Full write-up with screenshots: tinyurl.com/ADanyellRevOps
