Top 10 GTM Engineering and Operations Roles to Watch This Week – London, NYC, SF, and More
Hey Clay community! Here’s a roundup of the GTM engineering roles that went live in the last few days. Ten worth a closer look:
£110K–£200K base · London
“The revenue team is your user base — you build the internal products that let them stop doing the robot work.” incident.io runs incidents for OpenAI, Netflix and Airbnb, and the band tops out near the £200K mark London usually reserves for senior product engineers. Even the benefits list commits to it, with unlimited AI spend “for everyone, not just engineers.”
$214K–$245K base · New York City
A forward-deployed engineer pointed inward. First engineering hire on a new platform inside Revenue Operations, reporting to the Sr. Director of RevOps, at Staff scope and Staff pay: “Success here is measured in what the platform unlocks for the business, not in tickets closed.”
$190K–$250K base · San Francisco
One line tells you what the job is: you will be “judged on throughput, accuracy, and how much of your own job you make disappear.” A $30M Series A at a $300M valuation, past a $100M revenue run rate, running on Attio and Ramp rather than a Salesforce stack you would inherit.
SGD 200K–SGD 300K base · Singapore
Ops staff expected to ship software: the posting asks you to “build internal tooling with AI” using Claude Code, Cursor and Codex, then scale the playbook for how enterprise AI agents get built and launched. Bret Taylor and Clay Bavor’s company, paying at the top of the Singapore band for a strategy and operations role.
$200K–$250K OTE · Remote — US
Evidence the job family now has a hierarchy: this director leads GTM AI Engineers, a business analyst and a systems admin, and owns a Center of Excellence — while still required to be “hands-on-keyboard,” personally building and prototyping “rather than just directing them.”
$174,472–$218,090 base · Multiple locations
Unusually candid about the starting point: Brex says its AI applications “have been built ad hoc, with no shared standards, no central ownership, and no consistent way to measure whether they actually move the number.” The answer is a senior manager who codes — “you are a capable coder,” not someone handing specs to an engineering team.
$110K–$175K base · San Francisco
The first GTM hire at a company giving AI agents their own inboxes, backed by $6M from General Catalyst, Y Combinator and the founders of Ramp, Supabase and HubSpot. The mandate is distribution loops and category narrative rather than funnel maintenance, and the posting discloses the equity range alongside the salary.
San Francisco
The rare posting that hires someone to build the measurement system rather than report from it: Salesforce objects, warehouse, pipelines and attribution designed from what the company calls a clean slate. Founding team out of DeepMind, Databricks, Square and Faire, training AI agents to find zero-days.
United States
Storable calls the two halves of this job one job: build the revenue enablement function from the ground up, and “establish the AI operating standard for the entire GTM organization.” That standard sets how much AI every GTM role is expected to use, covering approved use cases, adoption, quality, governance and human review. Storable is a ~$350M business whose own posting admits it has “almost none of the AI-native GTM motion” yet.
$168K–$240K base · Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago or Denver
Enablement rebuilt around AI that delivers training in the moment, with a team to hire and ramp time as the number to move. A useful read on where enablement budget is going at a platform serving nearly 1,200 brands.
That’s 10 of 71 — the other 61 (including a GTM Ops role at Clay!) are in the full edition: The Shortlist | Edition 005
