How can I use Clay to identify customer and partner logos on company websites?

Hi everyone -- I am trying to use Clay to automate outreach to companies that includes information about customers or partners they have listed on their websites. Typically, this is formatted as a carousel of logos. Ive tried to do it by passing a screenshot of the page to the ChatGPT image analyzer with mixed success. Ive also tried to create custom recipes with the web scraping chrome extension and it does not work well either. Any recommendations on how to do this?

This is the instruction i provide it: Visit the company's webpage at {Company Domain} Review the landing page for any references to specific customers or partners. This may include images of company logos presented either standalone or as part of a rotating carousel. If you do not find any on the landing page, look for other pages on the website that may have titles such as "case studies," "partners", "customers", or something else similar that denotes a relationship with the company. As an output, provide a list of any customers you find and partners you find. Categorize each relationship as either customer or partner. Thanks!

I have done this very successfully using Google's vision API

It gets the logo, gives you the name of the company, website and what they do

are you able to take ask clayagent to take a screenshot of that part, and then use that image as an input to Google Vision API? Let me konw if you need help with this

Ideally I can run everything in Clay. Can I use the Google Vision API within Clay?

I export to google sheets and do it from there and then import back

I’m following this closely! I’m trying to use Claygent to scrape all the customer stories and customers featured on a company’s “/customers” page. Haven’t made it work right yet. Nabil R., thank you for sharing your success. If you’re ever up for a casual convo or Slack dm’s to help me try the Vision API and chat about our respective projects, I’d super-duper appreciate it, but no pressure whatsoever. 🙂 Josh T.
