How do you export hyperpersonalized emails from Clay to an email sequencer?

Hi all - how do you export hyperpersonalized emails created in a Clay workflow to an email sequencer (Apollo, LGM..)? I have tried out Smartlead and that works pretty well but it seems no other sequencers support custom emails in that way.

If I understand you correctly - Instantly.ai does too. I'm using it for myself and a client to do that.

You simply export the list from Clay, and map all the columns with the data you want to use as custom variables in your chosen sending platform. Obviously, certain platforms have an integration with Clay (ie. Smartlead) but you don't need that to make it work

Even in Apollo you can make that work?

Is there an option to "create variable"? Also, is there a specific reason that you're using Apollo?

No reason other than I am used to it. I want to decide on ONE sequencer going forward

Use Smartlead or Instantly bro - Apollo's deliverability, sending capabilities, API capacity, etc. is nowhere near the other alternatives. Yes, there is a bit of learning curve with Smartlead but it's well worth it.

I've been browsing a lot of them, but it seems to me that you need access to a different databases to be effective, then merge them, hyperpersonalize.

Random tip Martin - if you tell Apollo you want to cancel they might offer you the $19 a month super-cheap plan that I am on. Then you get their data very cheap. :)
