Troubleshooting Clay Data Quality Issues for Enterprise TALs: Filtering Tips and Best Practices
Hi everyone! I'm running into a Clay data quality issue across all clients, and I'm curious if others are experiencing this or have tips. I am building Enterprise TALs using filters like industry, minimum revenue, minimum employees, US HQ, and B2B. I always dedupe by Domain, and remove rows missing a Domain. Still, when I look at the list Clay generated, I see companies clearly:
HQ'd in another country (ok, maybe they have an office in the US, I can deal with that)
With Career websites rather than their actual B2B website (example: hubspotcareers.com rather than hubspot.com)
Gone out of business or acquired more than a decade ago
That are Individuals - where the name is like "Contractor and Marketing Professional" or even "Stay at home mom" lol
Auto-generated company pages for LinkedIn or even broken LinkedIn pages
I can't manually review every list. Any tips or filters I'm not thinking about?
