Question: It looks like I may win a few clients for whom I’ll want to do Clay integrations for. What’s the best way to do this in terms of:
Should each client get its Clay licence and I get access OR is there an “Agency” model where I own the accounts and pay Clay directly?
If it’s the latter, are there any advantages in terms of cost/credits?
If it’s the latter, and at some point the client wants to take it over, how can I hand their Clay workbooks/data back to them?
Thanks
Hi Ruben K. If you do integration (implementation) for them the way we do it is on their own instance so they buy Clay (potentially via your referral link so you also get a small referral fee) and they totally own it. I wouldn’t really recommend you run their system on your own Claybinatance as that’s going to get very messy long term. Also most likely they will want to bring this in-house anyway. Does that make sense?
+1 to what Vincent is suggesting.
100%
Thanks both
And I don’t need to join any kind of referral/agency programme?
Just the standard 3k credits referral link
How does one then justifies that they’re an agency bringing more than $2k per month of Clay clients?
If you’re just getting started to can request the Clay Creator program which gives you access to some rev share I believe and then once you have a few clients and prove you’re doing a good job with them you can request to be part of the Clay partner program for which they have different tiering depending on how many clients you manage
Arpit C. will be better position than me on this topic
Ah! That’s interesting. Thanks for letting me know Vincent C. Yes, I’d love to explore the Clay Creator programme as I’m talking about 4-5 clients right now
Thanks
