I'm trying to build out an automation that alerts me whenever someone at one of 16 companies gets a new job or when one of those companies posts a new role. Do I need to go down the webhooks route with the Explorer plan or can it be done with the Starter plan? I am building something as a (free!) favour for a friend and it's turned into quite a tricky thing. Any intel gratefully received. Thanks
Hey Matt, Yes, webhooks can be used on both the Explorer and Starter plans in Clay. There’s no plan restriction preventing you from: ** Receiving webhooks (e.g., sending data from external tools into Clay) ** Sending webhooks (e.g., pushing data from Clay to another system) * Or using HTTP API integrations in general. The main differences between plans relate to credits, enrichment volume, and feature limits like seats or automation runs — not webhook access. This sounds like a great use case for our Signals feature, which allow you to track, monitor, and automatically notify you of certain changes. Feel free to learn more about signals here https://www.clay.com/university/guide/signals. Hope this helps!
