Question for everyone - how do you exclude companies that you don’t want to contact using a csv file that you have to build a new companies search table?
Build a master “DNC” table and then do a “Look up” to see if there is a record. If a record exists, the workflow stops. I’ll be making a video tutorial on this exact topic this week
That would be really useful! so lets say if i have over 9K do not contact list and ive uploaded to clay as csv and when i create a new table uding the “look up” method, i should be able to filter them out? Is that right logically? Brandon C.
and would love to see the video too
Kazuki O. — yep, exactly that!
amazing! and Brandon C. one last question. for this option, does that use clay credit too or no?
Adding to this: any difference between using a new table or performing the vlookup to a google sheet were I already have all those companies?
thats a great one too! if we could perform on google sheet that would be amazing
You can, the feature is called 'Lookup Row'. You'll have to connect your file to Clay, it's pretty straightforward Don't know if it has any advantages or disadvantages compared to creating a table on Clay. Maybe Brandon C. has some insight on that
Brandon C. do you happen to know when you are releasing the tutorial videos 🙏
Kazuki O. yep! Planning on recording it tonight!
Brandon C. that’s great! please let me know when its ready. hopefully during this week i would love to view it
Brandon C. i have a quick quesiton regards to look up. i was managed to do this but i noticed that i can’t create a new view so i can filter those company that mattched “Do not contact List”
in this scenario, i want to make sure i dont enrich the company that is alreayd in the “Do not contact list” so how should I avoid this?
