Hey! Is anyone using clay to build lists in Europe? Im wondering if there is just something I am missing. Using "find people" enrichment within clay and struggling to find contacts for 80-90% of accounts.
I wonder why that could be. Can you please tell me what your criteria is? Sometimes the criteria is too broad
Originally it was very tight. Specific job titles and lots of them. I got contacts for 350 out of 2700 accounts. Then for a new list I tried loose and just looking at finance/admin departments and got contacts for 50 out of 800 accounts. Quite strange. Changing to domain or linkedin urls didnt improve it much
It has been happening with Clay ig. Last weekend i was showing my friend how to use Clay, and we ran some dummy lead searches. Stringent criteria only gives a few leads.
Just pulled a table, only filters were "finance" and limit to 3 per company. Of 900+ companies we found contacts in 87
Is there another way to do this in clay?
Well, thinking about getting the initial leads from Apollo or Sales nav and then only using Clay for validation and enrichment. This might be better. I heard Clay had updated its database. Maybe thats causing this issue?
Hmm maybe that caused some issue? Cause 10% coverage is not sustainable..
Yes. Also, do you think even looking for the leads from Clay's database is the right idea? i have been thinking about it.
The initia argument was that Apollo or other databases share the same old data with everyone. Isnt Clay doing the same?
