Hi all, I have a question about using Zapier. I used to have HubSpot connected to Clay but that doesn't seem to be an option anymore (did they remove features from some subscriptions?) and now I'm trying to figure out how to use Zapier to push newly created contacts (via form fill) to Clay for enrichment. It looks like this is possible with the Explorer plan, but it's just a pain in the ass because you have to use something other than a direct Zapier integration. Is that right?
Taft L. HubSpot integration is on the pro plan. Which plan are you on? Doing anything beyond basic read/write tasks isn't possible with the native integration. If creating contacts in HubSpot is the only use case, the direct integration should suffice, but if you run into other complex integration requirements not supported by the native integration, lmk, I might be able to help. (Think, how do we handle overwriting a mobile number on a customer contact vs zoominfo number on a prospect contact, etc)
Is the Zapier integration only on the pro plan?
no the hubspot integration
the HTTP API is available on the explorer plan but it's more work for your use case
Man, they’re making it hard for small shops to use them.
Trying to demo the potential of clay for some of our clients, but it’s really hard to do. Bit of a chicken and egg.
I’ll just do my use case manually for now, I suppose.
You can use the combination Zapier and Hubspot to lookup, change or create rows in a Clay table.
What is not working?
Connecting Clay to Zapier. But looks like I just need to do the http approach.
