I keep getting these messages for the recent Clay Cohort
That bounce message usually means the receiving server rejected the connection to team@cohorts.clay.com, so the email never got delivered.
For cohort programs, most communication happens inside the private Slack channel rather than email. Once you’re enrolled, cohort discussions, questions, and updates are shared there. [1]
If you’re trying to reach the cohort team, the best place is the private cohort Slack channel where the community and Clay team interact.

I am not sending emails to clay cohort. I will see if I can log into the Clay cohort I am taking starting this week.
Got it — that makes sense. If you’re just trying to access the cohort, you don’t need to send any emails.
When you log in, make sure you use the same login method you originally used:
If you signed up with Google → click Continue with Google on the login page.
If you signed up with email + password → enter your email and password instead.
If you accidentally sign in with a different Google account or email, Clay can create a new empty workspace, which can look confusing. Signing out and logging back in with the original account usually fixes that.
Hope the cohort goes smoothly this week 👍

I hope you’re able to access your cohort smoothly, and I’m here if you need further help. Would you like to share more about what happens when you try to log in?
That bounce message is expected if you’re not actually sending emails to the cohort.
For Clay cohorts, communication does not happen by email. All discussions, questions, and updates take place in a private Slack channel for the cohort. [1]
So you don’t need to email team@cohorts.clay.com at all. Once you’re enrolled, the cohort team and peers interact through that Slack channel instead.
If you’re just trying to access the cohort, focus on logging into the course platform and joining the Slack community rather than sending emails.

I was able to log into the cohort just fine.
Got it — thanks for confirming you can log in.
Those bounce emails are likely just automated replies from something that tried to send to team@cohorts.clay.com earlier. Since you’re not sending emails yourself, you can safely ignore them.
If they keep coming, you can also mark them as spam or create a filter in Gmail to keep your inbox clean. [1]
