How do I use Monty in Clay?

Hi! Anyone who have tried out Monty? And How do I use it? Tried to started a new conversation but that did not work - see picture or do I find Monty somewhere directly inside of Clay?

It looks like you’re trying to message #ask-monty, but that isn’t a valid recipient in the messaging app, which is why it shows the error.
In Clay, Monty (Sculptor) isn’t used through that chat. You access it directly inside Clay instead:
Go to the Clay homepage: http://app.clay.com • Use the large text box there to start a conversation with Sculptor.
Or open any table and click Chat with Sculptor to launch it from inside the table.
Once it opens, just describe what you want to build (for example: “Create a table of SaaS companies in Canada”), and Sculptor will suggest a workflow you can refine in the chat.

is sculptor analyst build mode same as Monty? Or do you mean that the Sculpptur Analyst mode is the same thing as ask-monty?

Short answer: no — they’re different modes of the same tool.
Sculptor (build mode) helps you create and build tables/workflows in Clay using natural language. You describe what you want to build, and it suggests steps, enrichments, and workflows.
Analyst mode is a separate mode inside Sculptor used to analyze an existing table. You ask questions in plain English and it finds trends, outliers, and insights in that data. [2]
So:
Build mode = create workflows
Analyst mode = analyze data in a table
Both are just different ways to use Sculptor, not separate tools like “ask‑monty.”

There isn’t a connection between Sculptor and “Monty.”
Sculptor is the AI co‑pilot inside Clay. It helps you build tables, workflows, and analyze data using natural language.
It can suggest workflows, recommend enrichments, and answer questions about your data.
“Monty” (or “#ask‑monty”) isn’t part of Clay’s product features. Sculptor is the AI tool used directly inside the app. [3]
