Hello! There is an error that I've found in the waterfalls. When you go to edit one of the settings from the actions in the sequence, any 'parent settings' (like conditional run formulas and validation provider settings) get deleted. Here is a loom to illustrate: https://www.loom.com/share/d592b949657f4ecf8d8ed6390dc2ff52
When editing waterfall settings, you should:1. First confirm your desired configuration and take into account any dependencies between columns 2. Use the waterfall "parent" column to set your structure 3. Configure your API keys 4. Apply validation settingsThe columns won't automatically re-run, which helps preserve your existing data unless you specifically trigger them.Since you're experiencing settings being deleted, I recommend requesting human support to investigate this specific issue, as this appears to be a technical problem that needs to be addressed by our team.
Looks like you're still looking for help. We're escalating this over to our support team and someone should be in touch soon. In the meantime, feel free to include any other information that may be helpful in solving your issue!
Hello, Another 'bug' that I've found in this work email waterfall, is that it won't output an email even if it actually found a validated one with Neverbounce https://www.loom.com/share/88166fac10f345f19d6e78464a30bac6 Thank you!
I've also noticed that if I try to create my own waterfall, it won't let me save the steps for some reason
Hi Stephen, thank you for reaching out. The reason for this is that the emails found were invalid. While you donβt see it right now, there is a validator column that checks the validity of each email after itβs found. To view these columns, go to the top right, click on "Columns," and then toggle on the following options: https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1266461130/9ab5ad17a92402f39e64c6af06ea/CleanShot%2B2024-11-26%2Bat%2B10_28_28-402x.png?expires=1733509800&signature=4f0b4274f3564d7e65919844369409c08a203d77da6bee9e9efa19c85269bb29&req=dSIhEM14nIBcWfMW1HO4zXro8wlSHFSxqBH4fviX%2B0tjEQ%3D%3D%0A By selecting this, you'll be able to see that while some emails were initially found, they were later validated and marked as invalid, as shown in the example below: https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1266461127/52f13b6b044fd19bfce39ebc71fd/CleanShot%2B2024-11-26%2Bat%2B10_26_38-402x.png?expires=1733509800&signature=fa2f3925ecf8231082b83ff0ed0fb9d77cc7300f0be38629b6f42ba5a2ec9b52&req=dSIhEM14nIBdXvMW1HO4zRAUL7MnaOSersyNkfJAlR3XPw%3D%3D%0A This indicates that the email was not returned, not because of a bug, but because it is invalid. Let me know if this clarifies things for your second point. Regarding your first point, the reason the waterfall "resets" is because when you shuffle a waterfall you essentially "reset" it. This means that the conditional format will be deleted. I will make sure to bring this concern up to the team though!
thanks, Stefano but the validation failed in each step, even if the email was shown to be valid within prospeo's integrated process.
I then would suggest to add the AI formula after you are already certain of the order of the inputs. Let me know id this helps!
Hi Stephen, Prospeo's integrated process isn't what we rely on to validate emails, as it tends to be inaccurate. The fact that some emails were marked as valid by Prospeo, but later flagged as not valid by the validator, is actually a clear example of this.
Ok thats good to know about prospeo records. Thanks!
Of course Stephen, I am sorry about this functionality being confusing and appreciate your patience!
This is what confuses me; is that it appears that the neverbounce validation never runs. This has been constent for me in all the email waterfalls.
Do you mind sending the link to the table so we can take a look? https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/1171717996/ac7729f84b426e1d0358af02/image.png?expires=1733510700&signature=e9d52048c14ad1d632fe74955177c21f3e9d192a47001b72932793bb06307167&req=dSEgF85%2FmohWX%2FMW1HO4zYTywSj5B5cR2BKsam%2FhVPt%2FOw%3D%3D%0A
