What does Eric do on a daily basis that he thinks makes him a better engineer that other engineers should learn from?

The biggest thing that I do that is not a part of the traditional engineering mindset is spending my mornings chatting with product folks. Especially in the world of AI, your context is the most important thing you have. Combine your technical knowledge, with business context, and you have a winning combination. Often times, engineers are given projects from PMs, and just build to spec, but if you can truly understand what it is you’re building and become opinionated in the business sense as well, nothing will stop you 🙂
