But this does not seems to be a problem with Zerobounce not catching an invalid email, it clearly says that the email is invalid, but the next item in the waterfall runs anyway.

Anything other than plain text in cold emails is a recipe for a bounce or reaching the spam folder. So no images, no links.

Your ICP seems to be a subset of mine. We offer outsourcing services. I am in the same situation as you are. I had some success in the past with email templates, but that's no longer the case. It's been only a couple of weeks since I started everything new (including Clay), but I've had no luck yet. DM me and we may compare approaches.
