Curious how others are thinking about this:
Over the past year, GTM workflows have become incredibly powerful, but I still find myself spending a lot of time translating business goals into workflow logic.
For example:
"Find AI startups in the US that recently raised funding, identify decision-makers, enrich contacts, create personalized messaging, and launch outreach."
The GTM process itself is relatively straightforward, but implementing it often requires multiple tools, workflows, enrichments, scoring systems, and ongoing maintenance.
I've been experimenting with a different approach where the user starts with a goal and the system generates the workflow automatically.
Attached is a screenshot from one of my experiments. The workflow on the right wasn't manually configured—it was generated from the goal shown in the conversation.
Not promoting anything here—I'm genuinely interested in how others think about this.
I'm curious whether the future of GTM is still workflow-first, or whether it becomes more goal-first, where users define the outcome and the system figures out the execution.
Would love to hear how others in the community see this evolving.
