Next you can focus on hanging out with your ICP like fb groups, reddit or other communites and best if it is inperson. just talk to them and find what their industry is like for the past 2 years (post AI) and then you can naturally understand about that industry if it worth to pursue or not
To enter a new market you have to find out few signals as you said, is are they active hiring in that particular niche and industry, then focus on what thier requirements are and what is the trend of hiring a particular role that is growing.
