That would be good to know and also reduces psychological angst.
There's a classic case study touted by Rory Sutherland (of Ogilvy's Behavioural Unit fame) about Transport for London implementing this on the London Underground - rather than needing to invest £millions in making trains run faster, they just put up digital notice boards telling people how long to wait until the next train.
Massively increased passenger happiness (reduced psychological stress),
"Soon" can mean very different things from one person to the next, from one situation to the next.
This concept is also a useful one to remember as a parent telling kids when something is coming / will be ready!
