Ross C. I think you’re mostly right. The standard defenses of AI personalization don’t really hold up anymore. Series A announcements, new exec hires, podcast mentions, everyone’s running the same triggers and prospects know it. What still works is either reaching someone during genuine evaluation, or being specific enough to their situation that it triggers consideration. Both require the same underlying work: actually understanding your buyer’s world deeply enough to know what’s on their mind before they’ve said it out loud. The best example I’ve seen: Zuora reached out to our exec team. Each manager got a completely different pitch based on challenges in their role and where the company was at. It felt so relevant, we talked about it, and someone eventually took the demo. It was personalized, but not personalized for its own sake. They just understood the problems and stages very well.

Salut Patrick ! You’ll need to send your emails from another tool (Apollo, Lemlist, Outreach, etc). To make sure you’re not getting flagged as spam, it’s good to use another domain (one you can lose if things go badly), warm up that domain (send emails from it to train Gmail, etc), set up DKIM, DMARC, etc, etc. How big is your list? LinkedIn could be easier for this.
