Hey all, looking for best practice on deduping Clay people results against HubSpot contacts before spending enrichment credits.
Use case:
I want to source net-new contacts in Clay
I do not want to enrich people who are already contacts in HubSpot
I do not have email at the start, so email-based HubSpot lookup is not useful as a first step
What I’ve found so far:
HubSpot contact lookup seems to want email
Exclude companies is not right because I still want to find new people at companies already in HubSpot
My problem is person-level dedupe, not account-level dedupe
Question:
How are people handling this in Clay?
Exclude people using a HubSpot-imported table with LinkedIn URLs?
Some other workflow before email waterfall?
Would love to know the most credit-efficient and reliable setup.
