Launching as a Founder: My Journey into GTM Engineering
Hey folks! Lucas from Sydney, Australia here. I just finished up my role as head of growth at an AI startup and looking at going out on my own as a founder, planning to offer some contracting in GTM engineering at the same time. The two campaigns I loved building with clay -
Investor outreach - I used Crunchbase data to find a list of investors in developer tools companies, then scraped their sites with Clay to find the most relevant partner/principal at the fund for us to contact.
"I built this for you" - I set up a clay table that scraped a person's linkedin + company website and proposed a micro-tool we could build for someone using our AI software developer. E.g. for a director at a hydrogen production startup, we built a custom ROI calculator for bus fleet conversions.
