Moving from ZoomInfo to Clay. One area we need to get ride of is Ringlead for data cleaning, deduping, lead routing, etc.. Is Clay enough? Has anyone been through this?
Hey Will Switching from ZoomInfo to Clay is definitely possible clay can cover lead storage, basic deduping, enrichment, and workflow automation however, it won’t fully replace Ringlead’s advanced capabilities like complex deduping, multi-step lead routing, and thorough data cleaning A good approach is to export a sample from ZoomInfo into Clay, test your deduping and routing workflows, and keep Ringlead as a backup until you’re confident Clay can handle everything
Hey Will, I'd be keen to hear more about this. We're currently on ZI and Clay but it feels to me like we should be able to drop ZI when we get to contract end. Are you using Clay for lookalikes and finding additional contacts at existing prospect/lead companies? The data cleaning is the other part of my concern with it. As we're new to Clay, I'm not really clear on how thorough the capability is in this regard. Any thoughts/advice/learnings?
Hey Will — yes, Clay can replace most of Ringlead’s cleaning, deduping & routing if set up right. We’ve helped teams migrate from ZoomInfo/Ringlead to Clay and built the workflows so nothing slips through the cracks. If you want, I can share more details 🙂 Best, Sourabh Panoptic Analytics panopticanalytics.com sourabh@panopticanalytics.com LI: https://www.linkedin.com/in/sourabh85/
Hey Sourabh I'd be keen to hear more about that please!
Forsyth T. I would argue that it's even better because you could take lists from different sources and enrich them inside of Clay. Zoominfo doesn't really play nice with external tools unless they are fully partnered with them.
