Understanding LinkedIn Follower Metrics on Sales Navigator

anyone knows what’s the logic behind getting the followers of our competitor’s linkedin company page on sales navigator? i added clay in my experience section and went to sales nav, turned on “following your company” and it gave me 500k+ results whereas clay only has 70k followers how do we fix this?
