Hi all, beginner question here. Is it possible to schedule daily runs to automatically add new rows? Context: We are monitoring building permit data through an API and would love to add new permits daily, enrich them and kick off a cold email. How would I approach something like this? Appreciate any help π
You will need to use a third party automation tool like n8n/make.com
Hey, thanks for your question! Could you clarify if the building permit data is part of a source? Ex: Webhooks, RSS, Apify etc in Clay? If so, sources refresh daily, which would automatically bring in new data every day. If itβs not part of a source or youβre looking for a different approach, let me know, and Iβd be happy to help find a workaround! π Looking forward to hearing more details! π
It's an external API I am calling through Clay
Great question! π Does the tool youβre using provide Webhooks? With Webhooks, new data can be automatically pushed as soon as itβs available, which means you could receive building permit data directly and update your table daily without any manual intervention. However, if the tool relies on pulling data based on conditions in the table, then youβd need to re-trigger the process manually or set up an automated schedule to run the update. Let me know if that helps, or if you need further clarification! π
We haven't heard back from you in a bit, so we're going to go ahead and close things out here - feel free to let us know if you still need something!
