Automating Daily Data Updates for Building Permits via API

Hi all, beginner question here. Is it possible to schedule daily runs to automatically add new rows? Context: We are monitoring building permit data through an API and would love to add new permits daily, enrich them and kick off a cold email. How would I approach something like this? Appreciate any help ๐Ÿ™

You will need to use a third party automation tool like n8n/make.com

Hey, thanks for your question! Could you clarify if the building permit data is part of a source? Ex: Webhooks, RSS, Apify etc in Clay? If so, sources refresh daily, which would automatically bring in new data every day. If itโ€™s not part of a source or youโ€™re looking for a different approach, let me know, and Iโ€™d be happy to help find a workaround! ๐Ÿ˜Š Looking forward to hearing more details! ๐Ÿ™

Great question! ๐Ÿ˜Š Does the tool youโ€™re using provide Webhooks? With Webhooks, new data can be automatically pushed as soon as itโ€™s available, which means you could receive building permit data directly and update your table daily without any manual intervention. However, if the tool relies on pulling data based on conditions in the table, then youโ€™d need to re-trigger the process manually or set up an automated schedule to run the update. Let me know if that helps, or if you need further clarification! ๐Ÿ‘Œ
