Grouping Job Titles by Company for Effective Outreach

·
·

is there some kind of a group by function? im scraping indeed and some companies have multiple jobs for similar/same roles I want to basically group by company for specific job titles, to reach out to the CEO and say for ex: “saw you were hiring 2 salesforce developers - are you growing your team or replacing people looking to leave?”

But you can pull jobs in one clay table

and then use lookup multiple records in table enrichment to group the data by company domain/name

yeah already did that 🙂 but a company can have multiple different job titles, so its not like all of them are the same, with this recommendation of yours and how i’ve done it, i’d have to create new tables in Clay, for each distinct job title, and that way, i could use the multiple lookup table function correct? this is why i really need a group by feature haha

Here is how it would work 1 table - Containing all the jobs posted by the companies you want 2nd table - containing all the company domains but deduped on domains (Containing only unique domains) Now use lookup multiple rows feature in 2nd table- This will group your data by the domains/company (Now you have all the job titles posted by the same company in a single cell/row) You can extract all the titles in comma seperated form in a new cell using formulas Then you can either use formulas OR AI to analyze and tell you how many jobs and what kind of jobs a company has posted. You only need two tables to achieve that whole thing

kind of funny hack, you can use lookup multiple rows in other table in the same table you're doing the lookup in so you can keep your workflow together

There’s a dedupe function in Clay. Right Click on the column you want to dedupe by

cause tomorrow jobs data will come in, odds are there will be 1 company hiring multiple roles, and that would automatically get written as duplicate entries into my company table
