Hey all, I found a blog article and this link that Facebook was available as a Data source with Clay: https://www.clay.com/integrations/data-provider/facebook. Seems like it is no live anymore? Any plans to bring it back to Clay in the future?
Hey Alexander, thanks for reaching out! Very interesting, could you share which blog post mentioned Facebook as a data source?
Hi Owen, here: https://www.clay.com/blog/facebook-group-scraper
Hey there - just wanted to check in here to see if you needed anything else! Feel free to reply back here if you do.
Hey Alexander, wanted to follow up! Thank you for pointing this out to us. We've notified our website team, and they'll be adjusting the link shortly. In the meantime, do you have any questions about the Facebook scraper that we can assist you with? :)
Thanks Owen! I was just curious if you still offer a Facebook scraper and how it works as the link does not show it.
Hey Alexander! Thanks for the reply. This feature was deprecated, but if you're looking to extract information from a Facebook page or group, happy to share alternatives for doing this. Feel free to share more about your use-case✨.
Thanks Daniela! The end goal is to find active fb group members so I would like to scrape who posted frequently
Hey Alexander, Apify has 2 facebook group scrapers you could check out here: https://apify.com/curious_coder/facebook-post-scraper https://apify.com/apify/facebook-groups-scraper I believe the second scraper is better suited for finding the most active FB group members as it will tell you the post author. Please note that these scrapers will only work for public FB groups. You can pull this data into a new Clay table by using the pull data from Apify table source. Here's a tutorial on how to set up Apify with Clay: https://www.clay.com/university/lesson/deep-dive-apify-actors-limitless-research Feel free to give this a try and let us know if you have any further questions!
Thanks Tanvi!
