I have a list of about 7k phone numbers and we’re trying to reverse-attribute those to people/companies. I can’t seem to find a way to use these numbers as a seed to pull the rest of the information. Any recommendations for how to get this off the ground?
So I’m trying to build a list of companies from a list of phone numbers.
Hey Matt! Thanks for reaching out. Most integrations for "enrich person/company" use a company name or domain or full name, email to attribute records. If the phone numbers on your list are company phone numbers, here's an approach you can try: - Prompt Claygent to run a search to find the company associated with the phone number (see screenshot below). Here's an example prompt I tested with: "Run a search and find the company or business associated with this number. When you find the company, check its website for that number to confirm if it's really associated and return the company name and website as your output. This is the number: {{insert phone number}}. You can also check this for contact phone numbers but this may not be as reliable because that data point is not always publicly available or associated with a person. This is very helpful! I have a proof of concept working for web search now. Two more questions: 1) Is there not a way to check actual records using the number instead of searching the internet? 2) Any way to link this to personal numbers for people who may have called in from their cells?
Thanks for the reply! Happy to help✨. 1. It's currently not possible to do this through the current list of integrations for enrich company/enrich person unfortunately. This is because of the inputs required by the provider to run a search in their database. Most providers take a domain, LinkedIn url or email for the search input. 2. To confirm, are you referring to linking the data returned by Claygent to a personal number? Personal phone numbers are a bit tougher to check due to this not always being publicly associated with a person. Are there any other data points in your list? ex: full name.
It’s carrier data filtered through a tracking relay so the names are obfuscated to things like “mobile caller”.
Hey Matt! Just to let you know, one of our integrations—Swordfish—is the only provider we're connected with that allows you to search for leads using just phone numbers. I tested it out myself on their site here: https://swordfish.ai/reverse-search – This might be exactly what you're looking for! Let me know if there's anything else I can assist with. :)
