Hi everyone, I am always using the zerobounce email validation on all enriched emails before using. Previously I have always used kickbox as a third party app which returns a rating per email, undeliverable, risky etc. Question is, when using zerobounce validation in a table in Clay, I dont see those ratings, just whether it was validated or not. in the example or a risky email address, how would that appear in this example, would it be a validated email address or not?
In Clay, risky or undeliverable emails will not appear as validated. The validation columns are hidden by default but exist behind the scenes. You can unhide these columns to see how ZeroBounce is evaluating each email. Clay classifies emails as: ** Valid: specific, active addresses that can receive emails ** Invalid: addresses that don't exist (undeliverable) * Catch-all: domains accepting all emails (potentially risky) For more conservative validation, enable the "only mark safe to send" option to exclude catch-all emails from your valid list.
