Hey all! I have a People list, where in some cases there's 8-10+ contacts from the same company. How can I consolidate this list so there's only 3 contacts max at each company? Is this possible in Clay, or easier in Google sheets, how would you do this?
Hi Alexander, thanks for reaching out. You should be able to limit the people searches by company in your find people at companies search. Here's where: https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/1174230710/039dde7c136b58d20ef2c0ca/CleanShot+2024-09-09+at+14_43_03.gif?expires=1725909300&signature=e6b84ff6afea85ce8ad420028d9e781df5cb9bbcb8af52120864a046bc9a9ba5&req=dSEgEst9nYZeWfMW1HO4zde7ZruU9rj7WAaNdV6fR6I0iu3PfWYJbekS7Aib%0A4RfL%0A I hope this was helpful. If there's anything else I can assist you with, please let me know!
Thanks, yes but my question was about a People list^ not a Company list
I already have an existing list of people from a different source, and I want to consolidate it so there's only 3 contacts per company in my Clay table
Any ideas?
Hey Alexander! Thanks for reaching out. Happy to help. The workaround for this is assigning a number position progressing from 1, for each contact per company in the table. Once that is done, you can filter your table and remove any contacts that are not assigned a number between 1-3 for each company. Here's a quick video explaining how to set this up: https://www.loom.com/share/a39a4569d95244b7886026f3c70812c7 This workflow is typically used to prevent duplicate records from getting enriched, but can also be applied to this. Let me know if you have any questions.
