Best Enrichments for Counting Contacts by Title at a Company

·
·

Hi all - does anyone know what the ideal enrichment would be to ascertain the number of contacts at a company with a given set of titles? It appears "Find Contacts at Company" and Datagma's "Find Employees" at company will only return lists of specific people (as opposed to the overall count for the company) but I may be mistaken. Curious if there are any other enrichments or flows that I might be missing. Clearbit does have this functionality but appeared to be off by about an order of magnitude for the roles I'm doing this for...

Hey, thanks for reaching out! It’s totally normal for some discrepancies to occur, as the data often comes from LinkedIn, and accuracy can depend on how the providers gather their information. For example, profiles with restrictions or non-standard titles might not get logged correctly. We do offer a tool called “Find Employee Headcount by Criteria,” which can help you get the number of contacts with specific titles at a company, but there’s still a chance of some variation due to the reasons mentioned. I’d be curious to know more about what you’re trying to achieve here. Maybe there’s a more tailored approach that could work better for your specific use case! 😊

Hey Bo (.! Thanks for the response here. Our product garners the most interest from companies with large SDR teams, so I'm trying to stack rank the companies in our current ICP list by the amount of SDRs they have.

In trialing the other enrichments, I was sure to use variations like "SDR" "Sales Development Representative" "BDR" Business Development Representative' etc.

I'll give it a go with Find Employee Headcount by Criteria!

Your use case makes sense! Using Find Employee Headcount by Criteria is a good start, but I’d recommend treating the results more as a guideline rather than exact data, as the precision can vary. If you want more accurate data, you’d need to use session cookies and tools that scrape LinkedIn in real-time, but this comes with risks, and it’s generally something I’d advise caution around. If you’re open to it, I can suggest some tools, though I’d stay away from scraping due to potential compliance issues. Alternatively, you could go broader with your search—using “sales” as a keyword and excluding roles that don’t fit your target (like Managers, etc.). This typically yields more results, giving you a better picture of SDR/BDR headcount. Let me know how that works for you! 😊
