Hi guys! I'm using clay as tool for outbound and find companies with open jobs. today someone from human resources ask me if it is possibl to find people open to work throuh clay. Any idea?
Yes, you can find people who might be open to work using Clay's Find People feature. To do this: 1. Navigate to your workspace 2. Select "Create new" → "Table" → "Find people" 3. Configure your search with specific parameters like job titles, locations, or companies 4. Use filters to narrow down your results While Clay doesn't have a specific "open to work" filter, you can search for people with relevant skills and backgrounds. Clay also lets you find people beyond LinkedIn through sources like Google Maps for local businesses and GitHub for engineering contributors.
we can try in two ways if clay can get the data. 1. Is it possible to go through their personal posts, If it's possible then we can enrich the person with who posted "open to work" or "Interested".
Yes, you can use Clay's "Social Posts" feature to find people who've posted "open to work" or "interested" content. This feature can be used as an import source or as an enrichment column to get posts, comments, shares, and likes from professional profiles. You can combine this with Clay's Find People feature to build targeted lists by filtering for relevant job titles, companies, or locations.
2. If clay can find someone is actively applying for the jobs
Clay doesn't directly track who is actively applying for jobs, but you can use our Find Jobs feature to identify open positions and then target potential candidates. You can: 1. Use Find Jobs as a source to discover job openings at specific companies 2. Get counts of active job openings with the "Get Count of Active Job Openings" action 3. Find people from companies with similar roles who might be open to new opportunities This approach helps identify hiring trends that could indicate where people might be looking for new roles.
Tried to work this out myself a while back. Linkedin blocks you from searching for #opentowork or 'open to work' which I think is their way of encouraging you to sign up to recruiter. But if you search 'open to work people' in Linkedin you'll see a lot of the opentowork posts show up. Best approach we've found so far!
While Clay doesn't have a direct "open to work" filter, you can use these strategies: 1. Use the Find People feature's Bio Keywords filter to search for phrases like "seeking opportunities" or "job search" that people often use in their profiles. 2. Look for people from companies with high job opening counts, as employees may be more likely to consider new opportunities when their company is experiencing changes. 3. Target people who recently changed roles (using the Experience filter set to 6+ months) as they might be more receptive to new opportunities.
