What's all your preferred way to find recent news about a company. Thinking to engineer Claygent to find it, to save on credits VS the Predictleads enrichment, figured I'd see if you guys r doing this too. Just wondering if the prompt is sophisticated enough where I'd Neon anyway and not gonna save on credits.
I have an amazing video solving this
Will publish soon
Google news --> rss feed --> move to CLAY
Claygent does this better than any of Clay's inbuilt integrations.
Hey Alexander - Yes Michael's solution is typically the most effective since an RSS feed is typically free. I know Michael is going to come with a video but just so you're not blocked: Step-by-Step: 1. Search for the Company in Google News: ā¢ Go to Google News. ā¢ In the search bar, type the name of the company you want to track. 2. Generate an RSS Feed: ā¢ After searching, check the URL of the results page. It should look something like this: https://news.google.com/search?q=COMPANY_NAME ā¢ Add =rss at the end of the URL to create an RSS feed link: https://news.google.com/search?q=COMPANY_NAME=rss ā¢ Replace COMPANY_NAME with the actual name of the company (URL-encoded, if needed). 3. Copy the RSS Feed Link: 4. Paste the RSS Feed into Clay: ā¢ Create a new table, select RSS as a source, paste the Link
Hey there - just wanted to check in here to see if you needed anything else! Feel free to reply back here if you do.
We haven't heard back from you in a bit, so we're going to go ahead and close things out here - feel free to let us know if you still need something!
Just adding this to anyone that is struggling to make this work in Clay, the RSS URL Clay needs is slightly different to what's above. You need something like this to make it work: https://news.google.com/rss/search?q=LUMI%20Therapy (Or at least that's what has just worked for me). Thanks!
Replacing Lumi Therapy with your target company name or whatever else you're looking to gather news articles on (that was just the example I used)
